This is a ProTek R/C 2S - 7.4 Volt, 2800mAh Li-Poly transmitter battery pack. This battery has been developed specifically for the Airtronics MT-4, M11X, M12 and KoProPo EX RR transmitters. This light weight Li-Poly transmitter battery will help to reduce the overall weight of your transmitter, which is great for long main events! The overall weight will be significantly reduced when compared to a typical NiMH transmitter pack as this battery weighs a scant 105 grams! (Six typical NiMH AA batteries weigh approximately 168 grams). This battery will not only reduce the weight of your transmitter, you also get an incredible 9 to 10 hours of run time!

How should the battery be inserted into the transmitter?
A suitable foam should be used to pad the battery in the transmitter battery compartment to help hold the battery in place and prevent it from moving around. Place a piece similar in size to the battery into the transmitter battery housing under the battery, and then while pressing lightly on the battery, slide the cover over the battery.

IMPORTANT:
1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery

NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use the battery that has too low a voltage.

Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35°C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

ProTek RC LiPo Transmitter Battery (7.4V/2800mAh) (MT-4, MT-4S, M11X, M12, M12S)
I purchased this Lipo battery for my Airtronics MT-4 about 2 years ago and it is still as reliable as it was when it was new. I have discharged it for storage a few times for around 2 to 3 months each time and it has always been reliable and kept each cell balanced perfectly. I have used the ProTek shorty pack and the ProTek 4s starter box Lipo and both puffed up on me. After each race weekend of use I discharged them in storage mode as suggested making sure each cell was balanced, but these two ProTek versions both puffed up and went bad. Others have had the same issue with those two models as well. But as far as the Transmitter battery goes it has been an excellent reliable battery.

ProTek RC LiPo Transmitter Battery (7.4V/2800mAh) (MT-4, MT-4S, M11X, M12, M12S)
Let me say first that Amain Customer Support is Fantastic!! On to the review. I have several ProTek products, including several receiver and transmitter packs. Since they were on sale I ordered 2 transmitter packs for my M17 and one for a 12 that I got in a trade. The packs for the M17 work perfect, the one for the M12 was only showing one cell when I attempted to charge it. After a quick call to Customer Support they quickly shipped me out a new pack, guess what same thing. When I plugged in the balance port the pack briefly showed the second cell then the voltage dropped like a rock till there was nothing showing. Not reading 0 volts, nothing like it wasn't even there. Yes I did check the charger, I plugged in several different packs and they all read correctly. Maybe ProTek needs to tighten up on their QC procedures. BTW Amain did replace the second pack with another manufacturer and guess what it worked. Guess third time is the charm...

ProTek RC LiPo Transmitter Battery (7.4V/2800mAh) (MT-4, MT-4S, M11X, M12, M12S)
Sorry for the bad review AMAIN,
this battery is old stock and doesn't peak charge above 7.6 volts. My previous ProTek Lipos were registering 8.4 volts in my Sanwa/Airtronics M12. I am really bummed about all the old stock I have received lately. I am surprised that this happened given the shortage of stock at hobby shops. I thought that the manufacturer of this battery would have yielded me a better product. BUMMED!
