ProTek RC 4 Cell LiPo Battery 15.2V High-Voltage Performance
The ProTek R/C 4S 120C Graphene + HV 6500mAh LiPo Battery is a great battery option for anyone looking for a high capacity, high output 4S battery. Weighing 578 grams, the 4S HV is lighter than a standard 4S pack, with much higher capacity. This provides more runtime, and a dramatic increase in voltage and punch over the course of a run.
This battery is designed to have improved power to weight ratios while maintaining a low CG. The improved efficiency of this pack will allow for lower operating temperatures and lower internal resistance. This gives users a more consistent battery pack. ProTek Graphene + 120C Packs deliver the power needed by serious racers and enthusiasts alike.
Lab testing has shown that ProTek R/C Silicon Graphene packs have double the cycle life when charged at 1C rates, and can be charged at higher amp rates, with less risk of damage to the pack. More importantly, the discharge curve is flatter, meaning the cells maintain higher voltage throughout the discharge cycle with no significant drop off. Additionally, when compared to conventional LiPo batteries Silicon Graphene batteries are lighter, providing a higher capacity per gram ratio. With 7.6V nominal voltage, 120C discharge ratings, incredibly high charge rates and ten different models to choose from, ProTek R/C 120C Graphene + packs are perfect for racers and bashers that demand the absolute best.
- Lighter than a hardcase 4S LiPo pack of equal capacity
- Improved efficiency, lower operating temperatures, and lower internal resistance!
- More runtime, with a dramatic increase in voltage and punch
- Silicone Graphene can handle more abuse and deliver more current than a standard LiPo battery
- Perfect for stock class racers looking to shave grams
- 10C max charge rates - 1C charge rate recommended for longest life
IMPORTANT LITHIUM POLYMER SAFETY INFORMATION
- DO NOT leave a battery in your model when charging
- DO NOT leave lithium batteries unattended when charging
- ALWAYS balance charge lithium battery
- ALWAYS use a LiPo Safe charging bag/box
- YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge lithium batteries (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
- YOU MUST not over discharge lithium battery packs
- READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery
NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in overheated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for the first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use a battery that has too low a voltage. Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at temperatures above 35°C or in a closed car. The high-temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging, or racing, do not charge it until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

TL;DR: Just go with another brand like Gens Ace and also, don’t buy your batteries online unless you have to. And if you have to, buy them from a different website than this one. Don’t overpay to be left stranded with a tiny warranty window on an overpriced battery that was pour quality. Thanks.
First battery I bought and didn’t use it for several months because I was waiting for my race friend to finish completing his eighth scale build. I never hooked it up to the charger I just left it in the box.
Finally got to go Racing I properly balance charge my Lipo and was only able to run a few races before the female negative bullet fell through down into the battery case.
Contacted Amain and explained everything. Because it was past three months the best they could do was offer a small discount towards a new battery.
I was a little disappointed but I bit the bullet and dropped another $100+ dollars.
New Lipo arrives I do a visual inspection everything seems fine. I go to charge the Lipo and right away I noticed that the balance plug was a little difficult to use but I was still able to connect. Ran this battery at my local track for approximately 3 to 4 club races and the battery has once again failed.
I contacted Amain and explained how the replacement Lipo is now having the same problem other customers have had, which is one cell in the Lipo will not read/not detected.
I explained how I am going through financial hardships due to being unemployed and asked if there was anything they could do to help. I was told that they would not warranty the battery and told me that they already helped me out with the first battery.
I would be lying if I said that I’m not disappointed. This hobby means the world to me, it’s the only thing helping me keep my sanity and now I can’t no longer partake and what brings me joy.
Who knows when I will be able to get back out to the track : (
