The ProTek R/C 3S 130C Low IR Silicon Graphene + HV Shorty LiPo Battery was developed specifically for 1/10 scale rock crawler and rock racer applications. 3S packs that are commonly used in the crawler world are either small, low capacity packs - or large, heavy 4000-5000mAh packs. This 4800mAh battery fills the void and gives scalers a high capacity option that produces more voltage and longer runtimes than a 2200mAh. Plus, when charged at LiHV specs this battery produces 13.05V, instead of the standard 12.6V of a fully charged standard LiPo, meaning performance oriented enthusiasts can take advantage of the light weight, and higher voltage throughout the discharge curve to give them a more consistent power delivery with less fade on the course!

NOTE: While these batteries are technically LiHV cells, they can still be charged with a standard LiPo charger. 1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery

NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use the battery that has too low a voltage.

Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35°C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

Okay I think they under stated the mah rating bc I just charged it and it was at 3.73v per cell and my charger put 4055mah into it. I have several high capacity lipo my biggest is 7100 mah and this one lasts 1.5 times longer than that and twice as long as my 6000mah.
Needless to say the best battery I have ever had very highly recommended and the IR on each cell is very close in each one

Excellent battery. We use it on our Arrma Typhon 3S to lower the overall weight. Lots of juice, longer than expected run time - about the same as the 5200 Lectron. Takes bashing well. I’m sure there’s a compromise, but we haven’t discovered it yet.

Don't store this battery under 30%. After four total charges mine dropped below 10% on its own during a month in storage and would not re-charge again. Going to stick with my Gens Ace and my Spektrum batteries from now on.

After first charge there is a .358 gap in cell voltage. Discharged and balanced and still have a huge gap in one cell. Not sure how often this happens but sucks when paying $60 for a battery that will take a poop soon.
