ProTek RC 500BL Black Label High Torque Brushless Mini Servo
The ProTek 500BL Mini is the next step in mini servo performance. Developed for 1/12 and 1/10 pan car, as well as 1/10 Pro Class drag racing pan car style chassis that use a mini size servo, this brushless option produces 186oz of torque and .06 transit speed at 7.4 volts - with superior efficiency and lifespan.
A black anodized aluminum case with a blue anodized bottom cover provides a stealthy and clean look. The aluminum case allows for extreme durability and a precision fit for the servo gears to provide the precise control necessary for demanding enthusiasts. Metal gears and brushless circuitry round out the package to create a robust option that will go the distance in high demand applications.
NOTE:
- If you experience glitching or poor performance while using a Futaba transmitter, you must turn off BLS mode. BLS mode is only compatible with Futaba BLS type servos.
- Modification may be required for drag applications.

Excellent servo! Very fast and plenty of torque. Its hard to find a mini servo with specs like this. It has excellent centering, is smooth and very quiet (during use or ar neutral). The aluminum case dissipates heat well and this thing runs without a hitch. It's not cheap but a case of "you get what you pay for". Great looks too! Running in a mini crawler and this thing kills it!

This is a good servo but beware, replacement gear sets are NOT available.
If you strip gears in this as I have done with a 1-week-old servo, it is NOT repairable. $90 gone...poof
Use a servo-saver. Unfortunately, I did not. Amain was very nice on tech service call, but there is also no warrantee for stripped gears.

Its a tad heavy, but very rugged, fast and powerful. I had futaba and sanwa srx before. broke them both running too stiff a servo saver. gears stripped on futaba because they were plastic. broke the case on the sanwa. Protek case is Alu.I am racing 13.5 1/12 pan car with it.
