Pro Boat Recoil 2 V2 26" Brushless Deep-V Self-Righting RTR Boat (Shreddy)
A no brainer here. Perfect 1st boat for starters. All you need to get started in this package. Advanced boaters will appreciate how the boat responds and is completely upgradable if you choose to further the package. Not that it needs it. Fun factor is high on the water and the best of all SELF RIGHTING! Yes and it hard to flip to begin because of the hull design. Great well thought out boat all around, love it!

Pro Boat Recoil 2 V2 26" Brushless Deep-V Self-Righting RTR Boat (Shreddy)
I've been really impressed with the Shreddy! Packaging: really nice looking box, the boat and extras are packaged safely. It comes with everything you need. Looks: the boat looks fantastic. All the stickers were applied nicely, looks great on the water. Construction: This is my first boat so I have no comparison, but I have no complaints. The hardware and hull are solid, all the internals look well thought out and put together. Electronics: the Esc, servo and lipo are all high quality. On the standard 3S everything runs cool, and it handled a 4S 3300 MAh lipo fine as well. Maintenance: super easy. Every run (or every 30 minutes per the manual), grease the flex shaft. It takes a few minutes at most. The hatch seal works very well, I get maybe a teaspoon after a run.
Performance/ fun factor: this boat rips!! It's really fun to drive. It gets on plane quickly, then shoots a big rooster tail towards 30mph+. Yet it still turns very well thanks to the turn fins. On 4S it's even faster and dances on the ride pad and prop. I found it nearly impossible to flip during regular maneuvers. If you do get it upside down, you'll need a quick burst of throttle to flip it back over. You can expect about 6-7 minutes of run time if you're running full throttle most of the time, or more towards 10-12 minutes if taking it easier.
The deep V-Hull also deals with lightly choppy water very well... it's quite stable.

Overall, I'm very impressed by the boat. It's well constructed, looks great, a lot of fun and puts a smile on my face each time.
