Axial SCX10 Pro 4WD Scaler Kit - "Comp-Ready" Performance!
This is the Axial SCX10 Pro 1/10 4WD Scaler Rock Crawler Kit. Designed to offer top level performance this comp-ready kit from Axial is a must have. The SCX10 Pro incorporates common competition upgrades making it one of the most capable scale kits on the market. Built to handle tough terrain you can utilize this kit for hardcore rock crawling or even use it as an incredible base for your next scale build.
The SCX10 Pro uses a light weight flat plate chassis design for optimized climbing performance. Incorporated are multiple shock mounting locations to fine tune your suspension. Smooth body aluminum shocks control the suspension using a unique spring setup. By eliminating the shock spring and collar from outside of the shock body, the aluminum smooth body, oil-filled shocks provide higher clearance when taking advantage of the SCX10 Pro's increased steering angle. The shocks' eye-to-eye length is 96mm and uses 12mm diameter springs. The dual O-ring lower shock cap acts as the upper spring retainer, while the lower shock cup features a built-in bump stop that can be trimmed for fine-tuning your suspension.
Locating the axles are a set of durable metal links using a proven four link design on the rear and utilizing high clearance links to keep you from getting hung up on obstacles. Locating the front axle is a solid three link design with a panhard link securely mounted to the chassis with a durable metal mounting bracket. The axles use an updated multi-piece design with steel tubes that can accommodate an axle-mounted servo (AMS) or a chassis-mounted servo (CMS) to increase the scale looks.
Driving this formattable drivetrain is an innovative clean sheet design transmission. The transmission allows you to underdrive the rear axle by 40% manually or with a servo for a distinct advantage on the rocks. This under driving of the rear axle allows for a tighter turning radius and reduces "torque twist" on climbs. Aiding in turning performance is the added forward weight bias of the front mounted motor. The motor mount positions your choice of motor low and forward in the chassis for superior weight distribution, providing the balance needed to keep from flipping while you tackle tough lines.

Axial SCX10 Pro 1/10 4WD Scaler Rock Crawler Kit
First off this kit is AWESOME! Forgot how fun Axial builds can be. There are a few “hiccups” in the manual (hence 4 stars) but nothing a mildly experienced builder can’t figure out. The verdict is still out on the shocks. I have noticed a little weeping on the bottom seal. Rebuilt them twice to make sure it wasn’t my mistake. Definitely take your time building and bleeding them.
Im running 1.9 Rupture green dots on Treal 2.2 rims. Brass steering knuckles, SOA ProTek low pro servo, 1800kv Puller Pro Stubby, Mamba Micro X2, Eco micro servo. Losi Mini T pinks in the back and stock Axial springs up front. Definitely needs a little widening. I’m running .350 brass hubs out back and .600s up front. The Axial body fits perfectly and looks incredible!
On the rocks this thing is so much fun. I haven’t had this much fun with RC since my XR10. This is the best Axial kit to date IMO. If you’re on the fence go ahead and pull the trigger. GREAT PRODUCT!

Axial knocked it out of the park with this one. I've been in the RC Hobby, mostly Crawlers for 20 years. I've had all the Axial vehicles. This kit is so modular, I can't wait until aftermarket parts hit.
The build is fairly easy and comes with everything you need. Even a Pinion gear (48P/13T) and 2 different servo horns. 23T & 25T.
Of course you do need your own electronics, radio, Beadlocks, Tires, Body, etc. I highly recommend the Spektrum Firma 2-in-1.
I have the Spektrum Firma 2-in-1 2300kv and running the Spektrum G2 3S 2200mah and Spektrum G2 1300mah 3S packs. They both fit perfectly.
I took the SCX10 PRO out yesterday for the 1st time and, WOW. I'm blown away at just how amazing this rig is. Literally tries to climb a tree trunk that is near vertical. The Underdrive feature is, mmmh just fantastic.
I do also recommend if your doing Servo on Axle that you get a Low Profile Servo. With a long Servo you run the risk of damaging the bottom, as the Servo sits close to the bottom.
I was thinking about getting an SCX6, because by the time you buy everything for this, your almost at the same price. But I'm so glad I went 1/10 again. It's more practical.

This is now my new favorite RC and I will continue to upgrade and have a blast with it.

Axial SCX10 Pro 1/10 4WD Scaler Rock Crawler Kit
I honestly cant say enough about this kit. Axial absolutely nailed this thing. It so well engineered and thought out. Its so simple but so clever how they used parts and fitment to bring the cg to the ground. The servo mount option is cool as hell too. I know its getting some bad feedback from the hardcore comp guys but from the reg crawling guy point of view its awesome to get this style of truck in a kit. If you get this kit and you arent already into that more aggresive and technical style of crawling this thing will change the game for you I promise. Its worth every penny. I know it doesnt come with a body and tires and electronics but you guys all know you change that all anyhow and you cant build this style truck cheaper than this. Thanks again axial for making this thing. Its going inspire more people that arent used to this style of truck. I love it.

Axial SCX10 Pro 1/10 4WD Scaler Rock Crawler Kit
This is a nice kit. It goes together well and the parts are of excellent quality. There are a couple of gotchas while building, pay attention to screw sizes- 9mm vs 8mm makes a difference. Probably would go together for a first time builder, but my money is on it not being correct. Instructions are sparse as the kit is aimed at the seasoned builder. As for performance once complete, this is an incredible truck. Personally I like it more than a buggy. It is very capable at the box stock weight and the suspension is butter smooth...a first for Axial IMHO. Grab the kit if you can as it is well worth it.

Awesome crawler! Scx10 Pro for the win. I definitely believe Axial designed there brass add ons perfectly to give you the edge. I've noticed a big difference from being super capable to now, it just blows my mind every time I go out. Decent control is ridiculous any downhill Decent is no problem easy money for the pro. When climbing obstacles or rocks it goes straight up.

Excellent quality comp crawler kit as expected from Axial. The attention to detail is what I expected from such a fine RC company. Note: the screws for the axle-mounted servo plate are about 4mm to long. If you don’t have shorter screws on hand you’ll need to cut the factory screws to proper length prior to installation.

This is the best performing crawler I have built. I would recommend to anyone wanting to build a capable crawler. Perfect for beginner builders as there is YouTube videos if you get stuck somewhere. The directions are not the best out of all the other crawlers I have built, but out performs them hands down.
