Gmade Komodo 1/10 RTR Scale 1.9 Rock Crawler w/2.4GHz Radio
This is a quality truck. It has a GS01 chassis witch is shared with the Gmade Sawback. The Komodo is a 4 link setup. I will give you my list of negative features. First and probably most important negative is the turning radius of the stock truck is roughly 32. This radius is bad compared to the Axial and the Vaterra they have a 45 radius. This is correctable but you will shell out anouther 80$ in parts. Second problem is the shock are in need of replacement. Third don't bother buying the chassis mounted servo upgrade because they do require a pan hard for this to work yet they don't sell one designed for this truck so you are left to figure out your own. Fourth since the factory battery location is in the back it is highly recommended to move the battery to the front. If you use the optional front mount battery tray you can't use the chassis mounted servo kit since the tray blocks the mounting location. This truck also has some driveline issues but they are not a constant problem. At some point you will break one so have a couple spares. The truck does have some good things going for it. It is solid and capable. If you are looking for something different that most likely you are the only one with than this is it. It can be made into a good competitive rig. If you are looking for a straight competition rig with less upfront money get the Axial SCX 10 2.
Almost forgot the truck does have beadlocks and so far I am not impressed with them. They are on my upgrade list.
