The Team Associated RC8B4 RWB 1/8 4WD Off-Road Nitro Buggy Kit is designed to be the ultimate racing machine that is packed with cutting-edge features for superior performance on any track. An overhaul to the gearboxes, front control arms, rar arm design, chassis braces, hub design and more to give you the next level off-road machine. The front-end geometry has also received updates allowing for increased stability and more consistent steering through the entire steering throw. All of these features come together for a buggy that is ready to dominate the track.

The new Team Associated RC8B4 RWB has a variety of new updates to the geometry to help get more performance and stability while providing the best driving experience

RWB (Rear Weight Bias) Technology

A revolutionary innovation, the RWB (Rear Weight Bias) concept strategically shifts major components towards the rear, orchestrating a transformative weight distribution. This design minimizes front tire load while augmenting rear tire traction. Conceptualized and refined within Associated Electrics' Area 51, RWB stands as a testament to pushing performance boundaries, building upon the accolades amassed by the celebrated RC8 series.

Front and Rear Gearbox

Critical updates have been channeled into the front and rear gearboxes. The front gearbox now boasts a 3.5° incline, facilitating an aligned driveshaft configuration that amplifies drivetrain efficiency. Complementing this, the rear gearbox embraces a 0° pinion angle, sustaining the optimized driveshaft arrangement. Both gearboxes feature oversized bearings for enhanced bearing durability, ensuring prolonged performance.

Front Suspension Arms

The meticulously crafted front upper and lower suspension arms have been artfully designed to accommodate a broad spectrum of flex and stiffness preferences. Inclusive of optional inserts, these arms enable precision fine-tuning, whether implemented with the upper or lower arm. Furthermore, the lower arm incorporates one-piece anti-roll bar link mounts, thoughtfully aligned with the anti-roll bar for streamlined assembly and operation.

Rear Suspension Arms

Engineered for the ideal balance of flex and stiffness, the rear arms dispense with the need for inserts. However, for meticulous fine-tuning, optional inserts remain available. Notably, the rear arms also feature a one-piece anti-roll bar link, positioned in harmony with the anti-roll bar using a BHCS (Button Head Cap Screw) instead of a shock pin. This thoughtful design choice simplifies assembly without compromising performance.
