Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0 1/8 RTR Off Road Nitro Buggy Type-3 (Yellow)
Well, to say Im disappointed is to say the least. I’ve been running nitro cars since 2010, and this one left me stumped. We pulled on this thing for 2 nights in a row, couldn’t get it to start. Have had blisters and sores on my hand for 2 weeks. was on the bump box for so long I was concerned we were going to burn ip a bearing. 4 different glow plugs, 2 different brands of brand new fuel, 3 different igniters, I even went and got a new one from the hobby shop to see if that was the issue. Wouldn’t even start on the bump box, their guy got blisters too! Took it to my local hobby shop because they are a kyosho warranty center. They claim it is a faulty fuel tank and that it is not sealing and creating pressure in the fuel tank. They contacted their rep and got a new tank under warranty, we’ll see if that fixes it. I’ve officially owned this buggy for 2.5 weeks or so now, and have seen absolutely 0 signs of life out this motor.

I did not reach out to Amain initially because I am so absolutely confused I didn’t even think about it. I figured it couldn’t be returned or anything because it has already had nitro in the tank/lines, and the bottom if the chassis is scratched from trying to get it to start…

We’ll see where this goes i guess :(

I’m giving it 1 star because the driveline and everything seems oretty nice, but exhaust looks like absolute garbage. Looks like someone ran a angle grinder over the top, didn’t deburr it, and then slapped it on the car and said “Good enough!”.

Very disappointed in this purchase, with the money I’ll have in this thing ATTEMPTING to get it to run, I could have bought a Kyosho MP9… this is absolute madness.
