RPM Unlimited Desert Racer Trailing Arm Skid Plates protect RPM Trailing Arms (RPM81282 – sold separately) from skid and impact damage and are extremely easy to install, remove and replace. Two screws are all that’s needed and to maximize the effectiveness, each Skid Plate is reversible! If one end is taking the brunt of the punishment, simply flip it around for double the life expectancy.
Each Trailing Arm Skid Plate is over 3/16” (5mm) thick with three skid ribs built in for smooth and easy transitions over tall obstacles. Adding RPM Trailing Arm Skid Plates to a set of RPM Trailing Arms will provide some of the best and toughest protection your ride deserves.

Just like the review before me, I have the same problems. They do not sit completely flush with the RPM trailing arms. There should be a screw in the middle as well. Not just the ends.

Sadly these didn’t last long while driving for the first time after upgrading my trailing arms. I caught about 2 feet of air off a berm and landed perfectly only to notice two plastic spikes coming out of the ground. The ends of these skid plates are not flush on the arms so they caught the ground and were ripped off of the RPM trailing arms stripping the holes...
I wanted to stick with RPM since the plastic is lighter than aluminum arms... looks like i will be upgrading to something better after these RPM arms give out...
