I have a Tamiya Clod Buster with an ESP Clodzilla IV chassis/suspension kit that uses Team Losi XXT rear shocks at all four corners. The shocks needed to be rebuilt when I started to restore my truck recently after it was in storage for about twenty years. I was amazed that A Main still had these shock shafts in stock considering that the shocks that they fit, like my XXT shocks, have not been made in quite a few years now. I gladly bought a complete set of four shafts and they fit perfectly in my truck's shocks. Now the suspension system is ultra smooth and leak-free again like when I first built my Clodzilla IV truck in the late 1990s or early 2000s.
Back in the day, MIP was the only company that made titanium coated shock shafts for Team Losi XXT rear shocks. They were part number 1052 and they have been out of production for a long time now. My Clodzilla IV truck had a complete set of those MIP titanium coated shock shafts and I could not tell the difference between those old shafts and these new Team Losi ones. I looked at them side by side and they looked identical to me. I got many years of use from my old MIP ones and I hope that my new Team Losi ones last just as long. Time will tell.
