Great for a stock v100 setup, once you go brushless, these are pure trash and will keep snapping at the ball end inside the drive cup. (I’ve broken 4 in 4 outings) There is no other option from Losi/Horizon even though when it was owned by Vaterra they did have a metal option. FORCED TRASH for more sales. I tried to contact Horizon to see if they offered the CAD file for the part so I could get a custom metal machined set but they do not offer this like some companies do (Redcat)
Plan on using the v100 for decorative purposes or just straight drags, useless as a touring car if this keeps breaking.
Buy a Kyosho Mk2 Fazer and go brushless, may look like a cheaper product inside, but so far it’s holding up very well/better under same conditions than Losi. Nothing broke yet, lol
