Exotek Flite 48P Machined Spur Gear (66T)

This is incredible light compared to the Kimbrough spurs recommended with Exotek's lockout. You need three 3X6mm BH screws to make this work.

Super light weight. Seems to be good solid quality. I run this with my YZ2 DTM2, with a lockout kit. I also run the 175RC pinions which work great together. EXOTEK is winning me back to their spurs again with these.

I bought two and stripped both out the very first race night, under hard drag racing they just eat the teeth off. Save your money

It fit exactly right with the exotek direct drive. It is easier than the ae direct drive kit.

Stronger than kimbrough but mech is always funny. Like the gear is not true. Tight is some spot and loose in another.

Exotek gears are machined; at least that is what they say. Almost every Exotek gear I have purchased from Amain or my local hobby store are not very round. They all have high and low spots. This is not good considering the amount of load that is put on each tooth. The low spots are the weakest area of the gear because your gear mesh changes. The result of this is a smaller contact point between the pinion and spur gear. This is where your failure will happen. The injection molded gears are more reliable simply because they are more concentric. Not everything a big name makes will be better or best option.

Great spur my car went from 190 to 140 after putting this on and I drag people on the staights with my 17.5 buggy

Added this to my SC truck and you can see it out drag the others on long straights.
