Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
I purchased this engine to replace my TRX2.5R which was toasted having a broken piston skirt. I read all the online reviews available for the Dynamite Mach 2 .19T and we concerned that there were issues with this engine, however the more recent reviews I had read suggested this be a good engine. So to answer the criticisms from the past.

1, the one way bearing doesn't fit correctly - This has been corrected with a new version of the back plate.

2, The bearings are easily destroyed - Time will tell but the information I have seen is that these have been revised.

3, The run in process is hard to do - This is true, I did have to lean the engine out after tank 2 to even get it to start, but over all the process was easy to achieve.

So far after about 10 tanks through I have found that the engine is way too powerful for my 2WD Rustler with road tires on the pavement.

I had to heat the engine with a hair dryer to get it to start on tank 4-9 but since tank 10 it seems better.

Over all for what was $30 more than replacing the piston and sleeve in the TRX2.5 this is a much better option. When I have saved up some more I will be ordering a spare engine to either have as a spare or rock in my Kyosho V-One SIII if I can get it to fit. That thing will be lethal with a high revving engine and its 2 speed transmission!

It looks very much like the manufacturer has listened to the previous criticism and improved this engine.

Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
Ok, after running a gallon through engine, i have run into a serious problem which has dissapointed me alot. The bearings are garbage! The rear bearing tore itself apart and destroyed half my engine and the front bearing leaks like crazy. I never encountered an airleak due to the front bearing but i'm pretty sure if the rear bearing hadn't died and i kept on running the engine, it would have happened. At the end of the day, i had to spend 100 bucks to replace both bearings with better ones, (ceramic bearings are recommened) the piston, sleeve, and underhead. Thanks Dynamite. But, apart from that problem, this engine is fantastic. Once the engine hits the first gallon it runs like a champ. It's got power, speed, economy, rock-solid reliablity and it's a piece of cake to tune. If you get this engine, replace the bearings with ceramic ones before you start it for the first time. It might be a little bit expensive but you'll thank yourself because you'll have so much fun with this engine for a long time.

Bearing dimmensions - Front: 7*19*6 mm Rear: 10*19*5 mm

Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
This motor is as good as everyone is saying about it!! I replaced the 3.3 in my Revo because it wouldn't Idle or tune correctly. This motor tunes and runs like a champ! It is tight pinch motor and takes a while to fully break in but it sings once its broken in!!

Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
FYI for anyone considering this motor. I recently installed this in a Jato. Wasn’t exactly a direct replacement. My oem header uses screws instead springs, and the air filter from the Jato was too large to fit adequately to the smaller dynamite carb Venturi. Once those items were addressed everything went together great.

Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
Awesome engine. I bought this engine because the carb on my 3.3 kept getting stripped at the hsn. Put it in a 2wd slash, paired with a dynamite 1/10 air filter and roar dual chamber tuned pipe with spring header. This engine tunes easy and runs great. Once you tune this engine it will stay tuned and run good for the entire day. Satisfied customer here, 10/10 would recommend if you are having issues with the 3.3.

Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
Very nice engine for the price. Bought this once my 3.3 went bad. Doesn't have as much top end as the 3.3 but only by a little. Great bottom end. Lots of torque.
I wouldn't recommend it in a tmaxx or a revo, but for a jato or rustler anything small its great.

Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
Engine runs great and consistent and is very easy to tune. Only thing is nothing says the glow plug that it comes with. Have not had an issue with it yet but would like some spares. there is no number on it, the exploded view manual that came with it does not list a glow plug and the manual is a generic dynamite engines manual that lists the DYN2500 glow plug for engines up to .15cu and the DYN2495 for engines that are .20 or or larger and not one for this .19. If anyone knows or has experience running other brands that would be very helpful

Dynamite Mach 2 .19T 5 Port Replacement Engine for Traxxas Vehicles
I purchased this engine to be installed in a Traxxas Jato 3.3 as a new replacement since the 3.3 has alot problems. And i have to say this Dynamite Mach 2 is excellent engine for the price. Not only does it look nice. But its better engineered such as the machining. And casting and has actual carburetor unlike the plastic crap that Trx engines use. If need a Good engine thats reliable powerful Built well. Then get a Dynamite Mach 2 .19T nitro engine for Your Traxxas Nitro. Major Upgrade from Trx engines.
