This is the Castle Creations Phoenix Edge Lite 100 Brushless ESC. Put your power system on a diet with the Phoenix Edge Lite series of ESCs. With the same amazing features and functionality of the Edge series, the Edge Lite offers a slight weight reduction for applications that are tight for space or weight. Simply put, the same brawn with less body - Phoenix Edge Lite.

With the debut of the Phoenix Edge series of ESCs the next evolution in speed controller technology has arrived. The Edge series introduces a user programmable auxiliary wire capable of functions modelers have only dreamed of, until now. The white auxiliary wire can be used for helicopter governor gain input adjustments mid-flight, serve as an audible beacon after an “unexpected landing”, act as an RPM output for 3-axis gyros that support RPM sensors, be used as an ESC arming lock or as a receiver arming lock. Combined with the data logging capability the Edge series of controllers offer, users can enjoy unparalleled versatility.

The Phoenix Edge series is intended for use in helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. As always, the Edge series of controllers offer industry-leading software functions, data logging, and USB programming capability via Castle Link USB adapter.

The Phoenix Edge controllers deliver all of this at the same astonishing prices as the previous model.

  • *RC HOBBY APPLICATION RATING: 100 amps with appropriate cooling. Phoenix Edge Lite controllers are designed without a heat-sink for applications with extreme air-flow, such as EDF planes, or applications with average current requirements much less than peak current requirements. Controller temperature must never exceed 100C (212F). Exceeding current or temperature ratings may damage components and shorten the life of the ESC. Always verify system current draw at full-throttle. Decrease load or increase airflow to decrease the ESC’s operating temperature.
  • **Peak indicates amperage sustainable for 0.5 seconds – long enough for most servos’ current draw transients. Your setup may vary. Always confirm servo current draw before the first flight of the model.

Castle Creations Phoenix Edge Lite 100 25V 100-Amp ESC w/5-Amp BEC
This is one hell of an ESC. INCREDIBLY LIGHT. I am using it on a 60" EXP with a Scorpion 4020-540Kv motor. 15x8 prop and 97 amps. Barely warm after a hard 5min. of 3D. So many programming options too, as always. Thanks A Main Hobbies and CC!!! Great product.

Castle Creations Phoenix Edge Lite 100 25V 100-Amp ESC w/5-Amp BEC
As with all Castle products this did not disappoint. For the size and weight it can easily be put in a 10-60 class air-frame with ease. having a 100 AMP top end gives you a lot of power options. Plan on putting this in a Ryan STA 55" with a Rimfire 32 i should be able to run 4 or 6s with ease.
Thanks A-Main for the reward points and quick shipping!
