This is a set of two optional Extreme Racing Traxxas X-Maxx V2 2.5mm Carbon Fiber Battery Trays, made of quality 2.5mm thick quality carbon fiber. These trays replace the battery hold down and go inside the stock battery compartment, allowing the use of larger battery packs. The kit includes button head screws, intended to go through the bottom of the chassis, providing a clean and contained set-up.

Xtreme Racing Traxxas X-Maxx V2 2.5mm Carbon Fiber Battery Trays (2)
Just picked these up for my 8s X-Maxx and the overall product is great but the straps they include are very short and limit the types of batteries you can install. I wasn’t even able to fit my traxxas 6700 4s batteries in the trays with those straps. If you do pick these up make sure to buy some longer straps
