Xtra Speed 1/10 Heavy Duty Dual Axle Scale Miniature Trailer Kit (24 Inches)
Nice durable trailer, have already done some pulls with it and had little to no drag, only downside is had to look up video to build, instructions that it comes with is more of a completed picture to compare to than a guide.

Xtra Speed 1/10 Heavy Duty Dual Axle Scale Miniature Trailer Kit (24 Inches)
Bought from my LHS. Instructions are meh, but there isn’t really an over abundance of parts, so fair enough. Quality is kinda NOT where you’d like it to be for something as basic as this trailer at $176 or there abouts. Feels like a great deal at $100, at $145 I’d be cool with what ya get, but after that I’m just left thinking “huh”.

Build is straightforward, all the usual prc oddities like rusty springs, odd oils, and the popular “what is that smell”… smell are present. The odd smells complement all the cost saving dilemmas, offering those little extra challenges we all love (be sure you have a small Phillips head)…. It’s sized well though, a VS4-10 pro fits comfy, the VS4-10 Phoenix Portal fits snug L-R but fits. Element Gatekeeper fits well, Capra is straddling side rails.

Reasonably scale, I’d assume scale matters if you’re buying a trailer, and this one looks okay. Expanded metal decking is too large, tires are bare of any branding but look pretty good otherwise. Fenders are “meh” spot welded tin lacking scale but are there.

So yeah, it’s not bad by any means, it’s just maybe a little value challenged @ $176, hard yes if it’s on sale for I’d say $140 or less really. At $140 or so, a lot of the “prc” shortcomings could be forgiven. Simple build, does it’s job, looks okay doing it. There’s just a “meh” about it, could be that it’s “meh” because it’s a trailer though, a trailer that costs as much as an Axial SCX-24 and a few mods… which there’s little arguing would be more fun.

So maybe that’s it, all done building, and; “I’ve got a basic 1:10 scale steel trailer!?” Seems a bit anticlimactic perhaps?

Hard to say.

Excellent product seems designed and structured very good. It's been hooked to the back of my Trx Bronco going about 17mph hauling my Cuda Dr10 drag car right on down the road.

What is the height of the tralier hitch?
I want to make sure that its not going to be at a huge angle on my trx4

Overall pretty good trailer. Wasn’t too hard to put together. I zip tied the lights in, seemed to be the easier way. Perfect for what I need it for.

Xtra Speed 1/10 Heavy Duty Dual Axle Scale Miniature Trailer Kit (24 Inches)
Once you decipher the instructions that some non English speaking person in Beijing wrote, and the picture or two they drew, then get the thing out together, it’s actually pretty cool, just be careful during that assembly phase, as pretty much every part of this kit, from the metal frame and chassis to the wheels and tires, leaf springs and axles plus the nuts and bolts, even the friggin’ massively oversized fenders all share one common trait, which is they are pretty much all made from the cheapest, thinnest, weakest metal that exists is China, plus there are several “features” that are so overly cheap I wasn’t aware companies were still willing to put their name on a product that has such an unusual amount of parts or design flaws. Friction bushings instead of beating in the wheels, on axles that don’t spin, so if you tighten the wheel nuts down it locks the wheels from spinning? Hahah. So to have the wheels spin freely, the wheel nuts have to be backed off so they aren’t touching anything. But too loose and the wheels wobble. This is stuff not even .25 cent gum all machine toy cars have.

Xtra Speed 1/10 Heavy Duty Dual Axle Scale Miniature Trailer Kit (24 Inches)
All in all this is an excellent trailer! Only reason I deduct a star is the instructions are not very detailed. I love the size. I love the black finish. I love the fact it's a kit and some assembly was required. It was a toss up between RC4WD big dog trailer? The price point was agreeable with me so Yeah racing got the sale. That is a big deal because I'm very fond of RC4WD products. Oh one more thing is the tongue of the trailer at the hitch is obviously bolt on which makes the taking off the trailer and adding much more time consuming. I'm assuming the reason for this is durability?! I imagine with added 10lbs+ that could be a lot of torque/twist on the ball joint?! Either way when attached it's staying there. Gives the trailer a smoother tracking and turning compared to others. So still neutral on the hitch design? Need more play time to give an honest opinion. Bottom line very pleased with my decision to go with this trailer. Impressive scale detail. Functionality and ease of use is what was expected. I've great ideas for some upgrades or additions to the trailer to give it that WOW factor. Thank you for such an awesome trailer. Now you need a boat trailer big enough for my impulse32 give RC4WD a run for there money!

Xtra Speed 1/10 Heavy Duty Dual Axle Scale Miniature Trailer Kit (24 Inches)
It's well made. The screws the hold the wheels together are ridiculously long, and the lights are poorly thought out/ hard to install. Overall very nice.

Xtra Speed 1/10 Heavy Duty Dual Axle Scale Miniature Trailer Kit (24 Inches)
Overall it looks great, but that’s where the positivity ends. The instructions are not that great, and it’s 1 piece of paper front to back. Mine did not come with enough hardware of what I needed and hardware I didn’t use. I had to go through my screw scrounge to complete it. The lights do not fit snug in the hole and will need to be hot glued in place. Now for the even worse news. This trailer doesn’t even fit my 1/10th slash or fiesta. Because the trailer has rails on the sides, it stops either vehicle from sitting 4 wheel flush. It misses it by 1 inch, could have been made a tad bigger. So now I have a trailer that looks cool but isn’t functional at this time. I give them props for style and the stow away ramps, but that’s it. Don’t waste your money, buy a 1/8th trailer.

I bought this trailer a few weeks ago and so far I love it. The only thing that sucks about it is the directions, I'm sorry to say but they completely suck other than that I absolutely love it

Xtra Speed 1/10 Heavy Duty Dual Axle Scale Miniature Trailer Kit (24 Inches)
This Trailer is a good buy, the price is right and the build is solid, all metal. The led light kit is a nice touch, I decided to clue the leds into the sockets. Overall I am happy with it and would buy again at this price. My Vaterra V100 72' Camaro looks good on it being pulled by my RC4WD Blazer RTR.

Nice trailer! Great kit, instructions could be a bit clearer but I figured it out. It looks good behind my TRX-4 Defender loaded with a GMade Jeep. I’m happy with this trailer and it’s a very good price.
