This is a replacement XRAY Rear Shock Spring Set, and is intended for use with the XRAY RX8. These ultimate-match shock springs feature a stylish black finish with laser-engraved values (6.3) on the top spring coil for easy identification. Developed through extensive testing and racing experience, these springs are individually measured, controlled, inspected and matched to provide identical damping characteristics. During the selection process, each spring is compressed in several fine increments and the values are recorded. Each spring is then matched with another spring of identical characteristics. XRAY goes the extra mile to ensure perfect spring match-ups, giving your car the predictability and consistency that you need to help you lead the pack.
The same thickness wire is used for each spring; stiffness is controlled by the number of coils. Softer springs (lower “C“ value) have more coils; stiffer springs (higher “C“ value) have fewer coils.
