Xpert 7000 Series Mega Torque Waterproof Brushless Servo (High Voltage)
Servo has seized twice on me. In both cases I opened it up only to see that potentiometer shaft had seized. Upon re-assembly servo would work again. Servo is only a few months old and is now going out for service. Another servo of the same type, is also doing the same thing. Don't risk your money, buy another brand.

*below is Xpert USA's official response:

In response to the low ratings and comment posted previously by a customer we thought it was important to note the following information. If would be very rare for a potentiometer to go bad, and would need specialized equipment to verify that. Its a rare claim to be made - only 2 units we ever received with that claim worked with no issues found. Also to have 2 different units with the same exact failure would be rare. We even gave the customer new units as a show of good faith, even though no issues were found. We just wanted to make sure customers were not mislead without all the information. Xpert servos have industry leading protection built into the units with both over current and thermal protection built into the software. Its possible that some may see these protections as a glitch or issue that is actually protecting the servo from the root cause of a different
issue.

I would like to add that their warrenty service was very good and they did stand behind their products. I'm not out for blood, I'm only being objective and critical. I bought two servos, both failed in the same manor. Based on that experience, how can one give a positive review, you can't. But I do thank you for standing behind your product.

Xpert 7000 Series Mega Torque Waterproof Brushless Servo (High Voltage)
I bought two of these. One in an SCX10 II and the other in a Wraith based Clodbuster. It turns the tires with ease, and seems very well made. I like that it's waterproof, brushless, and high voltage. It easily snapped the plastic servo horn that it came with on my clod tire rig. Amain raised the price $10 since my first purchase, for not much more I can get something with a lot more torque. Have only ran these servos on about two packs, so can't say much about longevity, but initial impression is great. Would buy this one again if not for the price hike.

Great servo for my crawler - its really water proof, ran the thing threw a stream with no issue at all. Servo was so strong that my servo mount broke but the steering kept working, I didn't notice on the trail.

Xpert 7000 Series Mega Torque Waterproof Brushless Servo (High Voltage)
This is the 4th Xpert WR7701HV that I have bought and the first that I have bought to replace the very first WR7701HV that I bought in 2015 and abused almost daily for 5 solid years, sending it in mud and water, banging it against rocks, getting the truck in a bind and using the servo to swing the whole truck to dislodge it and generally driving it like a complete @s**ole. The case is built like a tank and the gears are all titanium, and it has a proper brushless motor instead of a typical coreless motor that are used in servos. Brushless motors are superior to coreless motors because there are no brushes to wear out or damage from abrupt and repeated changes in the direction of rotation. I fully believe that the only reason I had to replace it was my own fault because I didn't seal the gearbox properly after I serviced it and put fresh grease in the gearbox last year and then spent an excessive amount of time with the servo submerged showing some kids how waterproof it was and not thoroughly drying it after I got home. This servo doesn't have the torque of some of the new crawler-oriented servos that are currently available, but it has more than enough torque to break rod ends when the truck gets into a bind. To sum it up, I without a doubt highly recommend this servo to anyone wanting to upgrade from the stock servo. This was $100 well spent and I will keep ordering them for new trucks as I build them.

It only lasted a little over a year and has now died. I do not recommend this product. For the money buy something else it just doesn't hold up.

Great product. Lasted quite awhile bashing in the yeti xl. My fault that it fried on 4s wiring mix up. Strangely it wasnt an instant fry. I was curious to why my steering got supper crisp, thought it might have been some tweeking I did to some setting... nope. It ran for maybe 5 min before the motor itself must have over heated and all movement ceased. Grabbing another now actually due to a similar spektrum giving up before one pack was through it.
