The Vanquish Products VS4-10 Chassis Kit is made to provide balance, scale looks and unhindered performance. This optional kit allows you to easily convert an Axial SCX10-II for greater performance or build from the ground up with your own choice of axle and parts. The steel C-channel design provides scale detail, the molded front and rear cross members fill the chassis rails in the highest stress locations for ultimate strength and provide features like dual servo mounts, winch line routing, and a fuel cell. The molded rock sliders come with a replaceable outer portion for flexibility of custom builds.

The VS4-10 Chassis kit is developed to work with the industry standard 3-gear transmissions found in most Axial SCX10-II and the VS4-10 Origin Limited. The aluminum battery and electronics tray helps to tie all the components together to make a unique and complete package.

NOTE: This chassis conversion is NOT compatible with the Axial SCX10 II kit transmission (AXI31439).

    • Front CMS with additional servo winch mounting location, winch line routing channel and integrated battery tray brace.  
    • Front Chassis brace completely fills the steel chassis rails for added strength and chassis stiffness
    • Skid plate with smooth transitions to eliminate catching points at critical locations. No unnecessary bumps. 
    • Included Transmission spacer to accommodate longer can motors and avoid interference with rear upper 4 link
    • Chassis side guards and high clearance rock sliders are tied to the aluminum battery tray for increases stiffness
    • Rear chassis brace and fuel cell incorporate the rear bumper mounts and fill the C-Channel chassis rails for added strength and chassis stiffness
    • Shock Towers with integrated body post mounts
    • Wide variety of body posts are included to to match the common heights of popular body configurations on the market

This is a great kit comes with about everything you need to convert you scx10 or scx10ii. It's also an excellent choice for a chassis on a custom build. I ran it with trx4 portal axles and worked great

Top quality as expected from the big V matched with the stainless steel screw kit is the ultimate quality no compromise build. To bad all of the frame parts are plastic but they are designed with the best chemistry money can buy. At the price range compared to other frames and setups this frame is by far TOP OF THE LINE. You pay for the name here sure but you also get the quality and QA, so buy it if you want the best. Still with the VFD setup and the VFD Hurtz dig its a clean and nice looking frame that will win.

Awesome with build out from the ground up my own take on the VS4-10. SCX10 II VS4-10 Chassis Kit you will need the other battery mount VPS10127 Works also with Axial SCX10 III Standard Straight Axle Conversion Kit AXI238000. You will need to align your links so the front axle is 10 degrees or so back inline.. and you might need an adjustable panhard.

Worth every penny! I got this to better the performance of my Axial Scx10ii Deadbolt that I'd left mostly stock for the better part of a year and I am completely satisfied with this upgrade chassis!!! Assembly was very straightforward and went together very smoothly. The only tricky part was installing the metal battery plate. Had to bent it a bit and slowly tighten each screw a little at a time to coax it into place but other that that minor technique I am 100% excited about this... Performance has greatly increased on the already awesome scx10ii platform taking my crawler to the next level. Highly recommended!

This is my first 1:10 scale crawler build. I've done a few scx24 builds and looked at the VS4-10 as a starter kit. This is the most stable chassis on the market!

Great upgrade chassis for the scx10 ii. I do with that shapeways made an alternative mounting plate for the IFS conversion from element to be able to mount to this chassis but either way great chassis for a custom project truck.

Purchased this frame kit to convert my Capra into a scale wide axle hybrid. High quality product and made my build easy instead of buying a complete other truck for a donor. Almost felt bad cutting some parts up!
Would be a great upgrade to an scx10.2 also

Overall impressive good quality parts went together without too much trouble. Defenitly will go nice with my modified build I have brewing. My only gripe is either sell this for about $20 less or include a set of affordable links to help ease/move the build along a bit more. Otherwise I highly recommend this for those who have plenty of spare/extra parts around but no base chassis to build on.

I have built a few rigs using this chassis. The first was with the Vanquish three gear trans and portals. The second is a short wheelbase rig with OG 4-10 axles and using the new style trans kit. You can get the solid base to build a good rig for $109.

Haven’t had a chance to finish the build completely but so far this chassis is solid. Pretty straight forward build if you’ve built anything similar. Hope it handles as good as expected.

Vanquish Products SCX10 II VS4-10 Chassis Kit
I’ve got a new build started around this chassis. Haven’t ran it yet, but I have the chassis together with links, axles and shocks.
The quality is top notch, for sure.
I did notice that using axial rod ends caused a bit of rubbing, at the skid plate end. Definitely not enough to call it “binding”.
I am using incision links and rod ends instead. The rod ends are a smaller diameter and fit the chassis very nice!
The chassis is well worthy of making the upgrade to incision or ssd links.
Like I said I have not ran it yet, but.
I can confidently say the performance is going to make this chassis a serious upgrade. Especially for the scx10ii.
I really wish Vanquish would have included a sticker sheet.
That’s really the only bummer.
