Tron 5.8 580 RC Heli | High Performance & Flexibility
The Tron 5.8 Heritage RC Helicopter is a high quality 580 class electric heli that provides an extensive feature list, flight envelope, and simplicity in design. The 5.8 features many design elements that are shared within the family of helicopters from the 5.5, NiTron, and 7.0. Features such as the octo-boom that is free of boom supports, elegant and simple battery tray system, optimized servo and rotor head geometry, and simple wiring for your electronic components.
The 5.8 Heritage delivers newly found features that are standard in the kits. A boost in aesthetics is delivered thanks to the additional Fusion design, that adds high visibility color matched stickers to the side frames, and tail fin. In addition to that, canopy installation and removal couldn't be any easier thanks to the supersonic rear style canopy mounts. In addition, two color styles are available - Orange/White/Black, and Grey/Yellow/Black. Pick your style above.
The 5.8 is purpose built to deliver incredible performance for pilots who are looking to equip the heli with either 580mm or 610mm main blades. All up weight of the model (airframe only) comes in around 1530 grams (~3.4lbs). Due to the lightweight design, and wide acceptance of 6s through 12s power systems, the performance and feel is up to your preference as a pilot and components that are installed. Pair this with the ability to use either full size or mini size servos for the rotor head, you can further enhance the performance through the wide choice of components.

setup for 6S 580 blade, Xnova 4025, HW 150, brain2 and theta servo Kenny Ko, the only word to describe this heli amazing!!! instruction well, is not as good you heard, if you don't pay attention in some section you will ended doing some mistake. the quality of parts are top, I wish the label the bags. I was planning to give 4 star because the instruction and bag was not labeled, but after flying is a dream heli. super stable, with the RT ultimate Agile, the 4025 6S a lot of power for 3D. the HW 150 governor is just perfect, the theta servo amazing super quite, strong and fast. and yes is a beautiful heli that capture the eyes in the airfield. the heli fly so good, that I still with the initial setup not even planning to change the initial setup in the brain2 either, you will love the heli.

This is an excellent helicopter kit. It is very well designed and parts are machined to excellence. All parts fit well with tight tolerances. All head link rods are turnbuckle style. Quick release canopy mounts allow for easy insertion and release of the canopy while also keeping the canopy very secured during flight. The head and tail design yields optimal FBL unit numbers. The kit comes ready to accept either mini size or standard size cyclic servos. It flies superbly well with 580/96 and 580/106 blades on 7S 4500mah packs. It autorotates pretty well also. This is definitely one of the best 550-600 size helicopter kits in the current market.

Excellent fit and finish. I’ve been flying for close to 20 years and built/flown just about every heli out there. Tron kits are some of the best I have ever built and the 5.8 is no exception. The adjustable dampening FBL is genius and looks like you can adjust it without removing the mount. The included water based decals look sharp and were very easy to apply. The kit goes together very easily and I love the rear canopy mounts. As always support from Amain and Jason is always top notch.

Absolutely fantastic helicopter. I have ALL brands and this is the only one that rivaled and ever-so-slightly surpassed the parts quality of my beloved SAB kits.
They fly excellent, so much that I call them my little demons. People know I ABUSE my helis so I have to be careful what I chose to fly so it won't explode in the air and this thing handles everything I threw at it.
I also have the 5.5 and after that experience I knew I was going to get one of these too. The one I have is the gray and yellow one and it's a beauty.
I was surprised at how visible it's in the air. I was a bit worried initially but after the first flight I realized I had no reason to worry and I loved it.
Buy it with confidence. Amain has always been top notch when it comes to supporting what they carry.
