Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer UDR 6S RTR 4WD Electric Race Truck (Fox Racing)
I've run this truck now 10 times now on the desert terrain and it's right at home on it, it's a blast! I've had no issues with it at all, It flies over the dirt gravel sand and brush with ease I love it!

Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer UDR 6S RTR 4WD Electric Race Truck (Fox Racing)
I want to say I changed my opinion of this truck. It's pretty bad ass. I had a bad connector that I resolved and this truck is crazy fast on 6s.The rear end did heat up pretty quick. We will see how it holds up over time.

Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer UDR 6S RTR 4WD Electric Race Truck (Fox Racing)
This truck is awesome. Definitely the most impressive r/c I've ever bought. All of the hype got old quick, and the inventory issues really made me sour. But all totally worth it. Truck handles amazingly through off road chunder, tough as nails. I've already upgraded steering servo and will be replacing the plastic hexes asap. I hope to see more wheel tire options coming out, I really want to run some classic Dune T/As on this beast!

Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer UDR 6S RTR 4WD Electric Race Truck (Fox Racing)
This thing is stupid fast with numerous runs on it now and no driver assist on transmitter.....all w/ 6S. Full aerial gymnastics when out of shape and always seems to come back for more...…@ 45+ MPH poop just goes wrong sometimes. Only issues I've ever had was with the Traxxas steering servo quitting early on and screws coming loose, causing other parts to fail (motor screws- causing pinion gear/ spur damage, front driveshaft housing screw coming loose/ backing out of center trans housing, etc. ..check EVERYTHING prior to running and Loctites' your friend). All STOCK parts seem to hold up well for me with the only mods being an HR motor fan kit, Proline tires (finally) and custom fabbed heavier gage wire swaybars front and rear (wish someone manufactured those - stock too soft for where I run). Very well thought out with way bigger bearings, trans., diff. and suspension parts throughout......unlike my Yeti XL kit car ($$$)

Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer UDR 6S RTR 4WD Electric Race Truck (Fox Racing)
I went in getting this truck knowing it wouldn't be durable mainly because its heavy for its size and some parts here and there sacrifice durability for amazing scale looks, but man this thing is TOUGH for what it is, and I've only ran 6s on it. First run with it I smashed 3/4 throttle into a large rock embedded into the ground and I snapped a front Aarm (I don't recall ever seeing anyone do that before, I've been following the UDR pages on social media to see what the issues would be, long before I ever considered getting one myself) replaced that arm, and it's been very minor things here and there! Most of the breakages on mine have been from horrible high speed crashes into curbs and stuff like that. I usually do a quick once-over on my trucks and the rear diff was a bit light on grease on mine, especially in the planetary, so that could be why some people are having issues of the rear diff getting hot, I added some fresh grease before I ran and it's been fine, but that is a necessity to get into the transmission and re-grease the planetaries every few runs. Maintenance on the thing is super easy, they really did a great job making it easy to work on with that upside-down tub chassis. Definitely not a super hardcore basher, but it will definitely take whatever you have to throw at it with very few breakages.

Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer UDR 6S RTR 4WD Electric Race Truck (Fox Racing)
This is an amazing truck! I suggest getting a 30mm WTF fan. The motor went from very hot to warm. You will have to cut a hole in the chassis above the motor. I just zip tied it in, but you can use metal hardware if you want. I would also suggest a steering servo. The stock servo is WEAK!!!!I got a Savox 0231 MG. I have not installed it yet though. Lastly the shock oil is too light and the shocks leak. I have some friends that suggest 40 weight. They report no leaks after swopping out to 40 weight. I have not done this yet though. Ok other than those 3 issues this is an amazing truck. This truck is durable. I have summersaulted this thing across the train and yard and not broke anything. I have bent up the lower front bumper from jumping / nosediving too many times but the replacement part was only 12$. Overall this is a Bad A$$ truck!!! and looks great!!! Im currently 3d printing some headlight buckets. For custom LED headlights.

Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer UDR 6S RTR 4WD Electric Race Truck (Fox Racing)
Great scale looks and performance. So far no issues with a few packs ran easily through the truck. Haven’t seen the need for 6s yet as it will wheelie on pavement with 4s. Really fun and challenging to drive on pavement. Silly fun in the dirt. Good work Traxxas!
