Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
Perfect upgrade to the original slash that was well worth the wait for anyone who wants more performance for less money! All included parts are cleanly fabricated and fit together perfectly during assembly. While transferring original parts I had to force some parts to line up holes but once bolts were started everything lined up cleanly. Once together it looks great, feels tighter and lighter than the original set up.

Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
The LCG chassis kit should be at the top of your 2WD Slash upgrade list. Performance is GREATLY improved and it looks alot nicer, too. Not difficult to install, but will take a little time. Well worth the time and money invested. Would recommend this to anyone still driving a Slash with an original "high center of gravity" chassis.

Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
Great a little tricky to get everything together, 2 screws wouldn't fit at all so my servo mount sags a little bit, if you don't double check your setup you will end up with a broken servo horn, UPDATE: I've used this thing for about a month and I have to say it's pretty good, I'm making a shelf queen/racing slash so I will probably get something higher quality but for now this chassis does it, if your racing or planning to race your slash then thus is what you want, if your bashing and you don't like the lower ground clearance grab a set of sway bars if you don't mind the stock setup, don't buy anything and have fun!

Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
Brandon fix ur rating. The servo is laid on its side and is sandwiched between the main LCG piece and the small LCG piece that attaches to the front, no more servo hole required. Best LCG chassis at any $$. Everything fits together like a glove. Only issue to be aware of is if u run the battery extended mod TRA5827X. With a severe impact to the front of the vehicle the chassis can flex slightly causing the metal tab, the battery bar is clipped to, to bend or break. If it breaks you may find yourself buying the main chassis piece over again.

Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
Such a fantastic upgrade for the slash if you're using it on the track and might be great for bashing too. The diagram made assembling it really easy and the truck drives so much better now. My first race I couldn't corner too fast without rolling and now with this I can actually slide instead of flipping

Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
Like everyone says, this should be #1 on your upgrade list. Completely/totally transforms the Slash. A drastic difference in handling, it makes the Slash 2WD all but impossible to flip. Highly recommend.

Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
A huge improvement over the stock! The truck now flips over much less and is a lot more stable when turning. Instead of flipping over during high speed turns, it goes into a drift, which is required for good handling. This comes with everything needed (including the instructions). The chassis is very sturdy and does not flex. The screws and components do have some trouble lining up at first, but once started, it comes together perfectly. After installing it, the truck feels much more agile, and also lighter. The truck actually feels like a race truck now! :D

Overall, this is definitely the best upgrade if you have an HCG Slash (the best for the price too)!

This is as important as running brushless/lipo in terms of performance.
What a great upgrade!

Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit
I doubted that this would have a dramatic effect on my son's Slash. I was wrong. We rip in dirt and grass at the park and sometimes in our alley which is a grippy, rough cement. Before the LCG kit, we would constantly traction roll in the alley and frequently in grass. Installed the LCG and went out to test on dirt, grass, and cement. Dirt is of course...no sweat. I was really surprised by the improvement in grass...and the improvement on cement was amazing. Handling is night and day...no joke.

Install...have the right tools on hand and it is not a big deal. It does take a while. My only complaint is the directions were printed so small. Hahaha I must admit I took a photo on my phone and blew it up to see. Then again, not an issue for my son and my vision is going downhill!

Totally recommend, especially if you are frustrated at all by traction rolls. Everything you need is in the bag.

so I been thinking about buying the lcg kit but in the picture it doesn't show the hole in the chassis for the steering servo like the original does it hook up differently??
