This is an optional Tekno RC NB48 2.0 Aluminum 23T Throttle Servo Horn for Protek, Savox and Futaba Transmitters, intended for use with NB48 2.0 1/8 Competition Off-Road Nitro Buggy Kits. Eliminate the possibility of your servo horn stripping, coming off, or your brake and throttle going out of adjustment and causing a runaway. Not only is this laser-etched servo horn made from aluminum and inherently much less likely to strip or flex, but it also clamps and grips the servo output shaft tightly to help prevent it from falling off or losing adjustment. In addition, this updated servo horn is designed with a slight angle between the brake and throttle lever, which provides a more consistent braking force through the servo’s rotation. The aluminum horn is a direct replacement for the stock composite horn (TKR9392), uses the same 5x8x2.5mm bearings and brake linkage, and is for use on the 2.0 series of nitro vehicles.

After using the plastic servo horn all last season this one stripped after 2 race days. I put the plastic back on and have had no issues. The centerline of the tightening screw is ABOVE the teeth, so force isn't distributed equally around the servo spline. The Aluminum steering horn is better designed for the softness of the alloy and doesn't have this issue.

Only t/b horn I’ll run on my Tekno 2.0/2.1’s. Works PERFECTLY without issue, as you’d expect from Tekno. “Bob’s” review below makes absolutely no sense, and I’m chalking his poor feedback up to operator error. I’ve been doing this for 35yrs, and have no problems what so ever with this horn. Thanks Tekno, and Amain!
