This is an optional Tekno RC Tapered Front-Center Driveshaft. Lighten your EB48 up with this 7075 aluminum drive shaft by 10 grams! This drive shaft has 10 grams less rotating mass than the standard drive shaft for the EB48(TKR5078). It is tapered for strength and uniformity and laser etched with the Tekno RC logo. The newly designed part will spin truer than the previous driveshaft.

great driveshaft, in my eb48sl i didn't really think it would make much of a change, but i was wrong ! the buggy feels like it hase more punch. its 2$ more than the "heavy shafts". cross pins are holding up better than outdrives.
i did have to replace mine, after a serious lawn dart into the face of a jump, it basically folded the buggy in the middle and bent the shaft, luckily the chassis flexed back to perfect flat but shaft was toast. i dont think any shaft would have survived that, spring steel or aluminum.
