The TLR 22 2.0 3-Gear Conversion Kit allows you to convert your 22 2.0, 22T 2.0 or 22SCT 2.0 to a mid motor 3 Gear transmission. The 3 gear conversion makes your 2.0 series model reduces rotating mass and drag within the transmission, to create a more effective and efficient spec racing vehicle. Plus the reduced weight also helps to decrease chassis roll for improved stability, consistency and braking. Package includes all the parts needed to complete the conversion.

Team Losi Racing 22 2.0 3-Gear Conversion Kit
Good value, especially when compared to the laydown conversion. Fitted it to my 22 1.0 and combined it with the direct drive and though I didn't notice a huge improvement, it's all part of a package that helps add lots of little improvements. Dimensionally identical to the 4-gear MM setup, impressively, and though it requires a few other changes to accommodate (depending on your version), it's worth the effort. I had to change my wiring (due to change from pinion-left to pinion-right) and cut the upper 2.0 body to fit it, but otherwise it fit perfectly.
