This is an optional Integy 1/8 Nitro Engine Fuel Cooler in Blue anodize. The cooler mounts between the tuned pipe and the fuel tank, so it will help to eliminate heat from the exhaust gas that goes into the fuel tank, lowering the temperature of the fuel and increasing run time.

It really seems to cool the exhaust gas giving the car a little advantage on fuel consumption. I could not tell at first but started seeing more fuel in tank at my 7:30 to 8 min stops. It also gives the buggy a nice look. Make sure to use full line clip to keep from rubbing on exhaust or it will mark up that $150 plus exhaust.
