RC18T is a nice truck for beginners, very fun, fast, durable. I have had to replace some parts because the broke after some very, VERY hard crashes, and the tires wear out pretty quick. Also, there is some wobble in the steering, but it hasn't effected me yet. One of the most annoying things about this (besides the fact that it's a pain to work on, same for every mini/micro though), is that the spur gear strips really quickly, and there's no gear case for it, meaning dirt and rocks can get into it easily. Personally, I would have rather bought the rc18r because these things are really only good for onroad. I give it a 4/5 because of the wobble in steering, unprotected spur gear, and fast wearing tires.

I've read some of the bad reviews and I can't agree! I have run my RC18T pretty hard and it holds up well. These ARE hobby trucks, not toys. You have to expect to work on them from time to time, that's a big part of the hobby!

It is well engineered straight out of the box, but there are a myriad of after market parts to build the Shelf Queen of your dreams or a blistering fast, quick handling little monster!

If you're buying your first RC hobby vehicle, this is a great place to start!

I highly recommend this truck. Works great. But my tires wore down really fast i would recommend getting some better ones. But other than that it is a great truck.

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING!!!
Many problems from the rtr version!! GET THE FACTORY EDITION AND SAVE MONEY!!!

I have had an 18t rtr for a few monts and have had diff problems, plastic braking, wobbly steering from flexible plastic turnbuckles, but the fte one has much better parts. TRUST ME -//- READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING!!!!!

i bought an rc18t rtr a few months ago and have had a bunch of pointless problems with it like the diffs coming loose and having to open up the upper deck of the chassis to take out the diff and tighten the screw etc. If you are going to buy an 18t, DEFFINATELY get a fte one because you are most likely going to upgrade all of the electronics like the motor and esc and servo and a lot of people have their own radio. The fte comes with so much better things that the stock one and you save money.
