Tamiya Super Sabre 1/10 4WD Buggy Kit. An updated re-release version of the retro Super Sabre buggy originally released in 1987 with modern capabilities!
The Super Sabre inherits the revered Hotshot's chassis and features a robust shaft-driven 4WD powertrain. Its three-piece bathtub chassis, consisting of a central frame and front and rear gearboxes, simplifies maintenance. The front incorporates a mono-shock oil damper with a stabilizer, while the rear features CVA long oil dampers. Additionally, the kit includes a polycarbonate chassis cover to safeguard against dirt and debris! Get the Super Sabre to add to your retro Tamiya collection or to dominate your local retro buggy race classes!

Tamiya Super Sabre 1/10 4WD Buggy Kit
I had this kit back in '87 and loved it. I bought it out of nostalgia. That being said, it is still a great kit and will be a shelf queen for me. I did try it with a 3800Kv motor and it took it find, no issues. Went together great like all Tamiya kits do. I like the pre-painted body; looks great. Overall, great kit, fun to build, fun to drive; brings me back to my childhood.
