It features dedicated body and chassis colors that endow a true Tamiya classic with a updated look. This specific kit includes a Hobbywing THW-1060 Brushed ESC for extreme performance.

Tamiya Monster Beetle 2015 "Black Edition" 2WD Monster Truck Kit

It’s a Tamiya, so you know this kit is going to be great! You open up that box and the display is top notch. Awesome and fun build! The black editions are my favorite, the colors are great and everything went together very well. I purchased fasteddy’s bearings for all my Tamiya kits and used a Tamiya gt tuned motor. Easy to follow instructions and really just take your time building this because everything fits nicely together.
Now I have to get the normal red monster beetle to go with this one. Amain is a great place to buy from with great customer service.
It’s an easy decision to make…. Do you have this black edition Monster Beetle? No… buy it. Boom it’s that easy, and you won’t be disappointed.
I also purchased the Tamiya BZ, RZ, and dirt tuned motors, so I’ll see how they perform. This is going up right next to my black edition lunch box.

Tamiya Monster Beetle 2015 "Black Edition" 2WD Monster Truck Kit

Just received the Monster Beetle Black addition and it brings back my younger days. It got me in the hobby back in the day and now after the loss on my son has brought back great memories I shared with him. It's not fast, it's a little hard to hand sometimes and it breaks when you jump it more than 20 feet but it's a great yard basher. Been showing the next generation in the neighborhood the joys of putting down the phone and not "tweeting" for more than five minutes. No selfies allowed...
