Tamiya Hornet 1/10 Off-Road 2WD Buggy Kit
I had a hornet when I was about 12 years old and now that I'm 44, I felt the need to get one again when I realized Tamiya reissued all the old cars. I know, I'm 10 years late on that but I was busy. Anyway, turned out to be a great decision. Building and painting it was super fun, it brought back so many memories. Even having to get Fast Eddie's ball bearings, I totally forgot about that! Driving it is super fun too (in a retro way). To be honest, it handles terribly, bounces all over the place, hard to even keep it in a straight line. But it's still awesome and I'm so glad I have it. There's no reason to upgrade anything other than the bearings and maybe a battery with 3000+ mAh for really long run times, it's a handful as-is and fast as it needs to be. I jump it off crazy stuff at my local skate park and haven't broken anything yet as well.
