SSD RC Rock Rey HD Third Member

The SSD Rock Rey HD Third Member is a direct bolt on upgrade for the Losi Rock Rey and Baja Rey vehicles. Its precision machined, and uses larger, more durable 13mm diameter bearings instead of the small 5x10 bearings that are used with the stock setup.

This is a must have upgrade for the Baja Rey. The stock third member will likely fail as it is a common weak point on this vehicle. This one will not fail. You may need to shim the pinion slightly to get the proper gear mesh but that is the case with any ring and pinion setup.

Nicely machined and stout piece. Bearings absolutely would not go in by hand. Had to use a socket and mallet to get them in and doubt they'll ever come back out when they need replaced. Be sure to double check mesh between the ring and pinion gears. Had to remove the shim behind the pinion gear and move the diff shim from the crown gear side to the cup side.

Has held up extremely well during the past 6+ months of torture in my rock rey. Still looks nice even with multiple scratches.
