As far as calibration goes, I was having the same issue. However I was able to remedy the problem. I had the adapter on during the whole process. When a followed the specific steps shown in the video it worked ever time.

I would buy this with caution. The one I purchase immediately failed calibration and nothing I tried would fix this. After looking online, I found that other were having the same problem. Some people posted on Skyrc’s YouTube channel and their version of support to fix the problem was to copy and paste instructions from the manual. I mean who could’ve figured that one out? If you have $200 to throw at a paperweight it does look cool.

This unit failed out of the box. It would not pass initial calibration as other reviewers have posted. I've researched and meticulously reviewed instructions as well as UTube technical reviews etc. Especially when to remove the adaptor, weigh and then reinstall the adaptor. However, it won't pass calibration. I'll return and try another unit. I want a device that works. Good luck!

Very nice tire balancer, the only issue with it, it's advertised as a 1/10 scale balancer. It will only do 1/10 scale buggy tires, not short course tires. There is no adapter available for short course tires. Hopefully they make an adapter available for it. Works very nice with the buggy tires.

I see alot of mixed reviews. Mine works great very accurate. I aligned the screws with the lines on the bottom. You have to move the sensor around while screws are loose to get it close to alignment marks and then tigten screws. As well as weighing the arbor separately and entering the weight on the screen. Also it work alot better when you select your tire type and not use use the Automatic tire selection. Its been working well for me fortunately. Money well spent for me so far. Hope everyone figures it out.

I preordered this months before it was released and I can't tell you how anxious I was to use it when it finally arrived. The disappointment hit immediately when I tried to run the calibration and failed. I must have ready the instructions at least 30 times and also followed several videos and was unable to calibrate. I gave up after about 4 hours of attempts and returned it. I am hoping that maybe a version 2.0 will come out in the future and maybe have another try at it.

Don’t waste your money worst product I’ve ever used will not calibrate and does not properly balance a tire will tell you to add weight hit the button to run again without adding the weight it requested and would say balanced definitely a waste of money I returned the first one and tried a second one and same results both would not calibrate looked online and seems to be a common issue with them

This balancer work great on 1/10 scale car and buggy wheels. It needs an adapter that is not available for 1/10 short course wheels. I did reach out to SkyRC but, they have not responded. I am keeping it but, really hoping someone develops an adapter for my short course wheels.
