This is an optional Serpent Aluminum Chassis Stiffener. As flex plays an essential role in set-up, this ads another element to obtain even better results. The ERYX chassis has one stiffener post standard in the kit, which mounts in the rear center. This extra aluminum stiffener can be mounted in the center, and then can be used either without the stiffener post front and rear, or just on the front, or just on the rear.
