Schumacher Cougar LD3S 1/10 2WD Buggy Kit (Stock Spec)
This kit is great - super engineered and very precisely made parts. The layout is very well thought out and maintenance should be easy - takes just four screws to remove and service the diff and set height!! I opted for the spec kit and it is the lightest buggy I’ve had yet. My only complaint is that some of the holes are drilled far too small, included in the kit was additional hardware to ‘pre-tap’ the parts before assembly per the instructions. Even doing this method with quality tools, I managed to strip two bolt heads. If you buy this kit I would recommend getting a small tap set with handle - this will make this process much easier.
Must have upgrades are the brass pivot block U8212 and the alloy front link mount U8638. I’ve run TLR for the past five years and there’s no going back now - can’t wait for my ST2.
