Savox's SC-1251MG Black Edition Low Profile Digital "High Speed" Metal Gear Servo features a sleek black aluminum center case with laser etched details, as well as a 70mm long heavy duty lead wire. The Savox SC-1251MG combines leading edge technology, with super high 12 bit (4096) resolution and Metal Gears. With it's low profile case, the SC-1251MG is ideal for most 1/10 onroad and 1/10 buggy applications, as well as aileron servos in gliders and airplanes that have thin wing profiles.

Features:
  • Light weight
  • Coreless Motor provides high speed, incredible efficiency, and low power consumption
  • The Aluminum Case design not only looks good but also allows for lower operating temperatures.
  • Totally Green – from materials to production, these servos are environmentally friendly.
  • Ideal as a steering servo for 1/10 surface applications, and as a aileron servo in gliders and airplanes that have thin wing profiles.

*NOTE: Certain combinations of receiver and ESC have been found to cause "Brown Out" issues when combined with Savox servos. An external BEC, or BEC stabilizing receiver capacitor may be needed for efficient, glitch free operation in low voltage electric applications.

Savox SC-1251MG Black Edition Low Profile Digital "High Speed" Metal Gear Servo
Got this for a 1/10 2wd buggy and it has worked well so far. Very quiet and has stood up to a few decent crashes so far without issue.

Update: I have been using this servo for a month. I had one crash that must have tweaked the servo just right and blew some of the teeth off the output shaft, which is aluminum. The other gears in this are brass or steel. SO.....if you're rough on steering servo's...this isn't your very best choice.

Savox SC-1251MG Black Edition Low Profile Digital "High Speed" Metal Gear Servo
This servo is great. I already own 2 of this. The first one is installed on my Tamiya TT02. I thought the servo was noisy. But I was wrong. When I put another one on my ARC R12 touring car 1/10, it works very well. My son won his first club race as a novice using this servo. I can also guarantee you that this is very durable. One disadvantage is the wire is too short but it works on my application to both of my cars.

Looks nice in black, beware the servo lead is shorter in real life than the photo depicts.

Servo lead length 75mm / 3” for your reference

Savox SC-1251MG Black Edition Low Profile Digital "High Speed" Metal Gear Servo
Excellent servo. I use the regular one in off road buggy but I snagged this one to run in a Yokomo BD7 because it came with a short wire and I didn't have to shorten it myself. Once again, Savox never lets me down. I've got 15 or more of their servos from the cheaper 1251/1258's up to the high voltage 2274's. Not a single complaint with any of them, they're loud but they are fast, strong, and center well.
