The REDS 521 GTS GEN 2 Ceramic Bearing 5-Port .21 Competition On-Road Nitro Engine brings next level performance to the 1/8 nitro GT class. This updated GEN 2 521 GTS engine offers high power, consistent tuning and excellent fuel mileage. REDS has spent extra attention updating and perfecting several components on this engine such as the carburetor, combustion chamber and front bearing. With cutting edge, competition grade components this engine has been manufactured to the highest quality standards and is ready to give you the power and efficiency you have been looking for.  

GEN 2 Updates Include:

• CG3 Carburetor: The biggest improvement is the redesigned aluminum carburetor made from pressure die casting. The GEN 2 GTS comes with a completely redesigned 3 needle carburetor for better and easier tuning in all conditions. Furthermore, thanks to its mid range needle, this carburetor guarantees more linear power delivery and greater power. This updated carb has been specifically designed to fit the INS BOX homologated by EFRA and IFMAR.
• Combustion Chamber: The GEN 2 521 GTS comes with a completely redesigned combustion chamber to improve power delivery especially at low RPM (torque). This engine can work with both 16EU and 25% nitro fuel.
• High-Sealing Front Bearing: The updated front bearing guarantees better sealing and high RPM range. This front bearing assures a better idle stability since the rubber seal reduces leaking. Furthermore, thanks to this updated bearing the engine and consequently the bearing itself are more reliable.
