PSM MP9 TKI4 4mm Carbon Radio Tray
Awesome upgrade for the MP9 TKI4 v2 ReadySet. All of the holes lined up exactly as they should. All the benefits of running CF in this critical area including light weight, durability, and desirable flex characteristics. I upgraded my buggy with all of the PSM Carbon Fiber parts (front and rear shock towers, front upper plate, radio plate, center differential plate, and transponder mount) and they are really awesome upgrades to what was already an amazing buggy. Highly recommended.

A couple of items that are worth noting. First, note there is minimal prep-work of cleaning then sealing the machined edges with a cotton swab soaked in CA. Instructions are provided and the precaution supposedly helps prevent delamination.

Second, I would not recommend upgrading to this radio tray without considering a couple of additional items if you are thinking of putting this on a ReadySet version of the MP9. First, the ReadySet chassis is stamped, not machined, and has a lot of flex. This is a good thing in a lot of scenarios, but the ReadySet version is really designed to help make the entry into racing easier for newer drivers. Newer drivers will inevitably face a lot of crashes and, when I experienced this, the ReadySet chassis developed some permanent crash damage pretty quickly. I would strongly recommend upgrading to the hard main chassis if you purchase this radio tray because the tray is subjected to a lot of stress as the chassis flexes, and you may very likely end up breaking your new radio tray pretty quickly in a crash or on landing large jumps.

Next, in conjunction with the hard chassis, I also recommend upgrading the radio posts. The posts included with the Readyset are plastic. As with the stamped chassis, these can flex and result in damage to the radio tray curing a crash or hard landing. The solid aluminum posts are inexpensive and mitigate the damage potential. As a package, the hard chassis, solid posts, and CF radio tray from PSM to all work together to create a much more precise platform that performs amazingly on the track when all used together.
