ProTek R/C Chassis Protective Sheets are made from thick laminate and backed by an aggressive adhesive vinyl. Each sheet is cut to exact dimensions of the model, and provides a professional look while helping to protect your chassis.
Protective sheets are highly recommended for both new and used chassis to resist against scratches and scrapes and prolong the life of the chassis. For best results, always replace the sheet when noticeable wear occurs.
In addition to protecting the chassis, protective sheets provide a slick and smooth chassis surface which helps reduce friction when contacting the race surface. If you happen to land hard and bottom out, your vehicle should more easily slide through it and maintain momentum.

PROS:
1. price is great since it includes 2
CONS
1. you'll need them both. they don't seem to be lasting long compared to an associated chassis protector I have on another rig that is way more durable and thicker. have many races on it and it is still in great shape, but this protek looks like it's years old after a week. If this is the "thick" I'd hate to see the "thin" version.
2. the extra tail pieces are a nice touch - i had to replace one after 1 day of practice... however they aren't cut out separately on the main piece, so you have to cut off the square tail/front pieces to replace them... that seems a bit crazy.
summary:
good for the price, but if you're outdoors and/or on an abrasive track it won't last nearly as long as thicker options if you have any. I'll try the AVID next.
