This is the ProTek R/C "Prodigy 625 DUO Touch AC" AC/DC Battery Charger. The next generation of Prodigy has arrived. The Prodigy Touch 625 DUO AC features an intuitive and easy-to-use touch screen interface with no physical buttons to wear out. Two independently-controlled 200 Watt internal power supplies provide a staggering 25 amps of charge current - per channel - making the Prodigy 625 DUO Touch AC an excellent choice for both surface and aircraft enthusiasts.
The 625 DUO Touch AC also provides important information during the charging process, including a data graph, internal resistance of the battery and individual cell voltage. Additional features include adjustable per-cell end voltage, worldwide voltage compatibility, automatic cell count recognition, and a Digital Power setting that allows you to power additional DC powered equipment when you aren't charging a battery. These features only scratch the surface of what the Prodigy 625 DUO Touch AC delivers.
There's a reason some of the most respected R/C professionals in the world use ProTek R/C. Pick up the Prodigy 625 DUO Touch AC today and see for yourself.
This charger features a Hi-Voltage LiHV mode that allows you to safely charge Hi-Voltage LiHV capable batteries. You can adjust the charging end voltage of this mode up to 4.40V per cell, which is considerably higher than 4.20V per cell of an ordinary LiPo battery. Charging at this higher end voltage requires a Hi-Voltage LiHV capable battery, but the power gains are significant to the overall punch and power for the R/C model. But please note: battery voltages exceeding 4.20V per cell is prohibited from sanctioned racing rules, such as ROAR, IFMAR, etc.

How To Calculate Your Charging Needs
To determine if this charger is suitable for your application, you must perform this calculation to determine the maximum amp rate the charger can supply. Divide the Watts of the charger by the Voltage of the battery pack. This will tell you the maximum amp rate the charger can deliver (Watts / Voltage = Amps). For example, if using the Touch 625 AC and a 6S LiPo battery, you would divide 200 Watts by 22.2 Volts to realize a 9 Amp charge rate. This means that the charger can supply a maximum of 9 amps to a 22.2 Volt 6S battery. This amp rate will gradually reduce as the battery voltage increases during the charge cycle.
LiPo Battery & Charger Warnings:
1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCd only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery
WARNING NOTE: This charger is not recommended for use with Traxxas batteries with ID connectors or Spektrum Smart batteries with IC connectors. Charging batteries equipped with ID or IC connectors may require additional steps in order to safely balance charge your Lipo batteries. Please refer to your vehicle or aircraft owner’s manual for recommended batteries and charging equipment.

Love the touch screen. Even comes with a little stylus. Multi configurations for memory enables you to save any of your settings to a specific memory setting. Recall it from the charge screen and you're good to go! Even charges LiHv.
Relatively quiet for the size and how much juice it can provide. Love the dual ports. True 200w/ channel charging. You can even discharge on one side and charge on the other! MUST BUY!
2 year update: Still loving the charger even though ive only been able to use it maybe a dozen times in the last year. One thing that i have noticed, and ive seen other people with the same problem, and that is that the port on the right side (#2) always displays a higher internal resistance number than the left. A pack might show 15 ohms on the right and the same battery on the right could show 25 ohms. The charging is still awesome but i just dont know what the accurate resistance is.
The measurements per cell are accurate, no abnormal heating observed so far and the ventilation is not too noisy.
In short, very good product for a reasonable price.
My very minor quibble is that it's nigh impossible to use the touch screen with Sasquatchian fingers. It comes with a tiny little tapper tool that works great, but seems hard to keep hold of. It's got something dangling from it, there is probably an attachment point I'm too stupid to find. But keep the little tapper pen, you're gonna want that thing.
The shipping was fast and it arrived in great condition
It includes some great accessories ,2 balance boards
and other cables etc.
and I also ordered
a couple of octopus cables that accommodate most plug types
The display screens are bright and easy to read
Programming is very easy
The included stylus works well but I’m not sure where it’s supposed to be stored with the included tether???
If you need a full featured high powered charger I would highly recommend checking this out!
