ProTek RC 4S "Supreme Power" LiPo 100C Hard Case Battery Pack (14.8V/3250mAh)

This ProTek R/C "Supreme Power" 100C LiPo Battery Pack is ROAR approved and built using a hard plastic case that is required for use at sanctioned tracks and events. It features a 2C charge rate and a factory installed T-Style connector on 12awg wire for an ultra low resistance connection, and an XH style 5-pin balance connector.

This battery is an awesome pack for 1/8 scale e-buggies and is ideal for qualifying and shorter races when you can sacrifice capacity in exchange for an ultra light car. This battery is also an excellent choice for chassis that use a 2 x 2S saddle pack configuration in series, as you can run two of these 4S batteries in a parallel configuration and have a 6500mAh 4S battery*!

Hi-Voltage Capable
This specially formulated battery features LiHV technology which allows the cells to safely reach a higher overall voltage (4.35V per cell vs standard 4.20V per cell). Achieving the higher voltage does require a LiHV capable charger, but the power gains are significant to the overall punch and power for the model. This battery can also charge and function perfectly at typical 4S voltages (14.8V), but please note: cell voltages exceeding 4.20V per cell is prohibited from sanctioned racing rules, such as ROAR, IFMAR, etc.

• *ESC & battery connectors must be wired in parallel to be compatible with a 4S saddle pack configuration.

LITHIUM POLYMER SAFETY INFORMATION

IMPORTANT:
1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery

NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use a battery that has too low a voltage.

Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35°C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.
