This is the ProTek R/C "Supreme Power" 2S 5000mAh, 40C Lithium Polymer hard case battery pack. This pack includes includes an integrated balance charge lead with a Deans style T-plug installed for a convenient connection capable of handling extremely high amp rates. While the 3-pin Align/E-Flite style XH balance connector provides compatibility with one of the most common varieties of balance tap connection.

These battery packs are built using a hard plastic pack that is required for use at ROAR sanctioned tracks and events. The packs are thin enough to fit into all touring cars and off-road vehicles, and the humps on the bottom provide a secure fit in vehicles designed for side by side NiMH race packs.

These ProTek R/C battery packs can be used in any application where you need 6-cell NiMH stick or race packs, such as 1/10th scale electric touring cars or 2wd and 4wd off-road vehicles. These packs are significantly lighter when compared to regular NiMH race packs. This makes the overall vehicle weight lighter for significantly improved acceleration. These batteries also have a nominal voltage of 7.4V compared to the 7.2V of regular NiMH batteries, and have dramatically reduced internal resistance. This leads to increased top speed and improved 'punch' off the line when compared to NiMH batteries.

Note: Some vehicles may require some re-balancing if the light weight of these batteries cause some handling changes. To get the vehicle to balance correctly, add some weight to the battery side of the vehicle.

Unlike most other Lithium Polymer batteries, these batteries can be charged at up to 2 times the rated current, or 2C! If your charger is capable, you can charge these batteries at up 10A!

CRASH Protection Guarantee!

This battery pack is covered by the ProTek R/C manufacturer "Crash Protection Guarantee"! If you crash your vehicle badly enough to damage the battery pack, you can send the damaged battery pack back to A Main Hobbies and purchase a replacement battery for 50% off the regular sale price!

IMPORTANT:
1) You will need a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
2) You must not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack.
3) Read the instructions carefully before operating this battery.

NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use the battery that has too low a voltage.

Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

ProTek R/C is an A Main Hobbies brand.

ProTek RC 2S "Supreme Power" Li-Poly 40C Hard Case Battery Pack (7.4V/5000mAh) (ROAR Approved)
Great battery. I run it in a Team Associated sc10: a small mod with a dremel and it fits no problem. Can run a 10 minute race and still has power to spare.

ProTek RC 2S "Supreme Power" Li-Poly 40C Hard Case Battery Pack (7.4V/5000mAh) (ROAR Approved)
Just recieved 2 of these today and unfortuantly they do not fit any of my offroad vehicles. The wires come out the side of the battery and prevent it from fitting down into the battery tray. I run Associated stuff , B4,T4, SC10 and a 4x4 Slash. Very poor design having the wires where they are.

ProTek RC 2S "Supreme Power" Li-Poly 40C Hard Case Battery Pack (7.4V/5000mAh) (ROAR Approved)
As someone else said, there was a picture! You need to research things better & not blame the store or battery pack for your stupidity. These packs are awesome, when you know what you're buying & the application it is to be used for.

the C rating on this battery is not accurate is more like a 20c, if you intend to use it in a powerfull car that needs a lot of amps this battery is not the one for you, i ruined 4 of this in my 4x4 jammin all of them with less than 10 cycles, i can buy replacements for 1/2 price but i don't want to spent more money on this junk
