The tire has been designed for complete terrain diversity. An alternating outer lug design made up of solid lugs and recessed lugs allows for different lug flexing characteristics. The diverse outer lugs help to ensure that the tire will continually grab and regrab under the most extreme conditions for unsurpassed forward bite. Next, there’s finely detailed sidewall tread made to grip the surrounding terrain whenever you are in a super tight spot. Finally, the center lugs provide lateral stability for all of those side hilling obstacles.
This is a first for the crawling enthusiasts, Pro-Line has included their all-new Memory Rock Crawling foams in the Hammer tires at no additional cost!

Because the tires are so soft (like pillows), the weight of the axle-mounted battery packs alone are enough to help my AX10 creep over anything that can be climbed. I don't even bother with additional weight on the front. These tires allow me to do that.
I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
