Pro-Line Chevy Silverado 1500 Body (Clear) (Slash, SC10)
I've bought two of these truck bodies and I was impressed on how detailed they were. However driving with the truck body needed lots of trimming in the tire wells unless you have adjustable body mounts. Also it seems to be very weak in the back portion where the body clips go even when using lexan washers to reinforce it. I think this is a great show body, but I've not had such good experiences with it on the track.

Pro-Line Chevy Silverado 1500 Body (Clear) (Slash, SC10)
I've had this body for a few months now. I race at an indoor track. It really knocks it out of the park with the looks; very aggressive styling and a seriously scale-like appearance that makes my SC10 really pop out on the track with the wrap I used. I get a lot of compliments and people ask me what body I'm using every time I hit the track.

The function of the body is much less impressive. I notice that I parachute a lot more than the guys who use a race-inspired body. I had to cut a LOT out of the fender wells to get my standard offset wheels to work on the SC10. +3 offsets just won't do. The body has cracked significantly in the seams inside of the tail light housing area. I also can only fit the body on the top pin hole of my rear body mounts, which sits pretty low, and have to jack the front half up to the sky to keep the tires from rubbing the fender edges. The scale good-looks come at the price of a lot more corners and edges to catch on pipe barriers and more tight areas of the body to crack when things go bad. This body has taken all kinds of abuse and I'm not upset about how long it's taken to start showing cracks. It just looks so GREAT. If you're wanting a body for all-out racing, this isn't the ticket, and I'll be switching to Pro-Line's Flowtech Silverado body. But if you just want to have fun every now and then, and you're not worried about going as fast as you can in the air, you'll be plenty happy with this body. Just don't get crazy with the offsets or you'll have to trim the fenders up to the roof line...
