This is an optional Lynx Heli Canopy Rod Set, and is intended for use with the Align T-Rex 550 helicopter. This canopy rod set is CNC machined from Aluminum 7075-T6 alloy, and feature high quality stainless steel hardware. The design of the screw and thread allows the user to guide the screw into the rod before tightening, making assembly quicker and easier. The design will stop the screw compression at the optimum length, avoiding damage to the canopy from over squeezing the grommet. The unique military style thumb screw assures the ultimate grip and will provide ideal lock and unlock operation during situations when hands are covered with dirt and oil.

Picked up a set of these and they fit perfectly and look awesome to boot. I bought these because I was one of those who always thought that I'd never lose a canopy while in flight, guess what, it happened at a tune of $180.00 to repair my Heli. Trust me if you are into mild to aggressive Sport or 3D flight, these are a cheap investment.

A bling add on that has function as well. Fits perfect and allows simple installation and removal of canopy. I'd like them for all of my helicopters. The steep pitch threads mean only a couple of turns is required to remove or install. Bolts stay in the grommets when the canopy is removed, so there's no fear of laying them down and losing them.
