This is an optional Lynx Heli Ultra Dampeners Set. The Goblin employs a rigid head design, commonly known as a DFC head. This head requires very precise and rigid dampeners to be reliable. By combining Lynx engineering and their extensive helicopter experience, they have designed special dampers that hold the spindle while removing play to emphasize the rigid head flight characteristics.
These Lynx Dampers are two piece - one O-ring to maintain the necessary preload (to remove side by side play) and one bushing in techno-polymer auto-lube to assure maximum load and friction resistance.
These dampers give your Goblin an incredible precise feel in flight. The difference is visible, particularly in fast forward flight and with quick pitch changes.

Note: Lynx tests show that the Lynx dampers must be used at high head speeds; for Goblin 630 they advise 2350 RPM, and for the Goblin 700 they advise 2300 – 2350 RPM.
