This is the LRP Vector X20 Stock Spec 17.5 Turn Brushless Motor. LRP StockSpec motors are based on the extremely successful Vector X20 Modified Brushless motors, with innovative features that include a dual axis balanced dynamic rotor, finely adjustable five-step timing and an optimized compact stack for better drive feeling and higher efficiency. The motors are available in 21.5, 17.5, 13.5 and 10.5 windings for Stock racing. They are extremely powerful, low maintenance and comply to the rules of all international and national Stock classes.

I ordered 2 of these motors and they are both garbage. The timing is adjusted with replacement sleeves that make it more like variable fixed timing, the max sleeve is 37.5 degrees. On the analyzer they pulled like 2.2 amps at 1800kv with 17,000 rpms give or take. On the track they were super hot and had tons of fade even with a fan. They were so slow I was barely making the jumps and by the end of the 5 minutes I was casing the jumps in both classes. Even with fans and vents they ran hot with only 38 degrees or timing and the torque was non existent. On top of that I contacted LRP to see what I could do to make the motors not suck and they failed to respond. Although I never contacted Amain which has always been great to me.

Just received my purchase (the motor + 50640 12.5mm rotor).
Nice, but strange the motor has 12.5 rotor in stock. But according to all available specs it should have 12.45 one...

if you want torque,if you want top end, if you want a motor than can take high temps (80+c),high gearing, and provide you with flawless performance then this is the motor for you, after a full season and no maintenance bar a drop of oil in the bearing and a blowout with a compressor this motor has not faded in performance one little bit! it has great protection from dust yet still allows plenty of air flow.... ive geared it at fdr 5.4 in blinky mode and it literally eats the competition down the straight and out of corners,very punchy with high torque. No timing advance needed, keep it factory set timing and away you go..... definitely the winning edge.
