Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser 2.0 ReadySet 1/8 Monster Truck
Took me years to buy ones of these because I just couldn't take the body style. But this new 2.0 grew on me fast. The truck is well assembled, and of very high Kyosho quality. However, you need to secure all metal to metal screws and nuts with threadlocker. Engine was my 1st KYOSHO engine success. US Sports Inferno engine was jacked out of the box. Good break-in (10 tanks) excellent speed. Catches peoples eye. Really nicely finished body.

Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser 2.0 ReadySet 1/8 Monster Truck
I was lucky enough to get one of the first ones released. I have always wanted one of the "Old School" Mad Force trucks. I can say this truck is awesome. The updated body is nice, as well as the rims and tires. Glad to see Kyosho went to a 17mm locking hub, that really opens up the tire and wheel options. That being said the stock tires and foams are awesome for an RTR. Something of note,if you want to put aftermarket wheels and tires on you WILL need longer wheel hexes. Ofna makes 14mm extenders so you can run proline wheels and tires. Kyosho big bore shocks, if you have ever owned any, enough said. The engine broke in very easily and tuned just as easily. This thing is a rocket. A truck this big has no business going this fast. Yes the steering linkage is ridiculous, but it works...very well. There is absolutely ZERO bump steer. Overall I am very impressed with the quality and build of this truck. Great job Kyosho. On a side note. Thread lock....Thread Lock every metal to metal connection before you run it.
