This is a set of two JConcepts Bar Codes 2.2 Rear Buggy Tires. The Code of Silence has been broken at JConcepts, and the Bar Codes are out. The Bar Code design is the freshest tire design seen in the last 10 years of racing development regardless of class and scale. Like the name suggests the alternating bar design combined with the addition of the Y side bars provide uncompromised support for blue and black groove conditions. Bar Codes are a specialty tire that when matched to the appropriate track can provide amazing results.

The Bar Codes are a part of the JConcepts special breed of tire, designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body. Bar Codes in new condition excel on hard surfaces that have taken rubber with either dry or wet grooved conditions. Worn Bar Codes excel on indoor or outdoor clay tracks where a minimal dust groove has formed.

Features:

  • Alternating “Bar Code” design with Y side bars
  • X-Design interior carcass for enhanced support
  • Includes JConcepts And-1 inserts

JConcepts Bar Codes 2.2" Rear Buggy Tires (2) (Blue)
These tires are great on the right surface. not all that versatile. seems to go best on hard, smooth, dusty clay with bluish groove. dont have the best side traction under power. if the track is wet they tend to fishtail a little bit. as long as your smooth on the power they hook up well. the foam is good and firm and doing well on the bumpier tracks.for where (Hobbytown crystal lake, IL and S&N Trackside) i drive i think i would've preferred to go with the orange or gold compound.

JConcepts Bar Codes 2.2" Rear Buggy Tires (2) (Gold)
Easily considered the best indoor clay tire. Good to use at any indoor track, it provides plenty of overall grip to make for a comfortable and fast buggy. I personally use only this tire at every indoor track I go to.

JConcepts Bar Codes 2.2" Rear Buggy Tires (2) (Gold)
After running Pro-Line on just about all of my vehicles I recently had to compare the JConcepts to the Pro-Line tires for the 2WD buggies. I ordered some of these, and some of the Pro-Line suburb tires. Well, before I could even compare them on the track Pro-Line's tires came to me full of bubbles and holes from improper molding. I sent off for another set thinking it was just a fluke, but yet again the same bubbly inconsistent mold problems. Instead of wasting more time I took my store credit and bought more of the JConcept tires. The Bar Codes also have significantly more tread than the Suburbs and they perform very well from what I can tell.
