JConcepts 1/10 off road tire sticks allow drivers to neatly group sets of front and rear tires together. The tire sticks feature a 2 piece interlocking design that snap together and clinch into place.

To use, simply slide the mounted tires down the stick portion and position them so the last tire has the hex facing outward. Slide the clinching retainer down the stick and align the hex into place in the wheel and pull snuggly together. Extra stick length can be trimmed off for a more compact fit.

Features:

  • Original JConcepts design
  • Easy, 2-piece snap and clinch function
  • Available in blue and black colors
  • Embossed JConcepts logos for authenticity

JConcepts 1/10 Offroad Tire Stick (Black) (4)
As a self-admitted wheel “collector”, I tend to have more wheels than I do chassis for them. That wouldn’t necessarily be a problem unless you didn’t have any sort of option to hold them together like these.

Originally, I’d searched for an aluminum tire “bar” to store my wheels and tires together. Sadly, no one seems to have any available except for 1/8th scale and all my cars are 1/10 scale. I needed an option that was effective as it was affordable.

Hopping onto Amain, I searched for any sort of tire organizers I could. I wasn’t sure which ones to buy as many of the options were again, made for 1/8 scale. This one was the only real option.

After receiving this, I wasn’t too sure how these worked but within minutes, I’d realized that they are a sort of quick zip system. Basically, you pull them away from each other and then when you’re ready to store your wheels onto them, you just put the locking lug through the stick. The lug fits the back of any wheels with 12mm hex and it holds the wheels onto the sticks securely. Even if the notches leave a little room, your wheels aren’t likely to go anywhere.

Now here are some of the downsides I’ve had using these. The first is that the locking lug sometimes doesn’t center itself as you try to feed it onto the stick. Not a big deal but it sometimes is annoying.

Another thing that I have a problem with is the description: it says it’s made for off-road though it looks like it doesn’t. To give you an example, I’m only using them for on-road, touring car wheels and tires, which are 26mm wide. While I can fit 6 26mm wheels just fine, I’m not quite sure a set of 4 30mm wheels and wide off-road tires will actually fit on these. Perhaps they may work for buggies but 1/10 monster truck wheels and tires?! Your mileage may vary.

In closing, if you’re like me and own too many wheels, these are a great investment! Whether you use them to organize your wheels for home or the track, these are an absolute must!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that these tire sticks, while tight, WILL WORK with MST wheels with raised simulated lugnuts, like the MST LM and 501.
